Fire Watch Andalusia is an independent informational application that displays publicly available wildfire information and optionally provides notifications about nearby reported wildfires. We designed the app to collect the minimum information necessary to provide these features.
The app does not require registration or a user account.

Saved locations are used only to determine whether you should receive a notification about a nearby reported wildfire.
Current device location is used only while the app is open for map positioning and optional proximity monitoring.
The app does not continuously track your current location while it is closed.
Background notifications are based on locations you explicitly save, not continuous background location tracking.
Push notifications are delivered using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). Notifications are associated with an anonymous FCM token. No personal account is required.

Wildfire information is obtained from publicly available information published by INFOCA. Fire Watch Andalusia is not operated, endorsed or affiliated with INFOCA or any government authority.
The app does not display third-party advertisements.
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with service providers necessary to operate the app, such as Firebase Cloud Messaging for notification delivery.
You may:
Saved locations and the anonymous notification token are retained only as necessary to provide notifications or until you remove them or stop using the service.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the effective date.
